Which Regina hotels have a waterslide

9 of the Regina Hotel Association’s 24 member hotels have an indoor waterslide. Every one of them also has an indoor pool and a hot tub, which makes a waterslide hotel a dependable plan for a Regina winter weekend.

They are spread across the city; 4 in the south, 2 in the north, 2 in the east and 1 downtown. Every listing below shows that hotel’s full amenities, its room count and how far it is from the airport and downtown.

Booking a block for a team

For a team manager booking twelve to twenty rooms, a waterslide is the MVP. It gives the kids somewhere to go between a Saturday game and a Sunday one, indoors, without the team having to leave the hotel.

Meanwhile, the hot tub earns its keep from the other end of the roster.

The closest of the nine hotels to the REAL District (where many of Regina’s tournaments are centred) is Residence Inn Marriott, 4 minutes away; the farthest is just 14. Every listing above carries its own drive time, to the rinks, the airport and downtown.

Birthday parties and weekend trips

A hotel waterslide is a good answer to a January birthday. It is indoors, it runs itself, and the parents get a hot tub out of it. (Regina families do this as much as visitors do!) Turns out, an overnight fifteen minutes from home is enough of a change of scenery when you are seven.

Two things to settle before you book, because neither is standard across the nine:

  • Whether the pool is open to people who are not staying. Day passes are not something to assume either way. Call and ask.
  • Height, age and supervision rules vary by hotel. Confirm the requirements with the hotel before booking.

They’ve all got the same three things

A waterslide, an indoor pool and a hot tub — so what’s left to settle is where you need to be and how many rooms you need. Every card above has the room count and the drive time to the airport, downtown and the REAL District.
